HomeBiogas is an off-grid system that generates clean energy without any electricity AND allows you to properly treat your household waste! The system produces up to 2 hours of cooking gas every day solely from your food scraps or animal waste. HomeBiogas needs sunlight in order to produce biogas. Bacteria thrive on warmth!  You can activate HomeBiogas one of two ways. The most effective method is to use animal manure (specifically any animal that chews its cud i.e. cow, deer,camels, buffalo, goats and sheep).

Created in partnership with landscaping manufacturer Marshalls, Responsive Street Furniture uses digital technology to make streets work better for people who find moving around difficult for all kinds of reasons. It brings the adaptability of digital devices like iPads to the fabric of the city, allowing it to change to best suit the needs of the individuals who are using it. These changes include brighter street lighting, audio information, extra places to sit and more time to cross the road.

FORTE® GeoMeter®600

The FORTE® GeoMeter®600 spatial data collection system is a 100% Hungarian innovation that has already been introduced at CeBit. Smart gathering of information is essential to operate smart cities. With the FORTE GeoMeter 600, all the public buildings, locations and dimensions of the settlement are recorded with 360 ° panoramic images. With a single automatic survey, the local government gets up-to-date data assets that are now indispensable for modern urban management and settlement development.

Wind tree

The NewWind R & D startup company has completely redesigned wind turbine. Their aim was to create an aesthetic and quiet structure. The "Wind Tree" trunk and its branches are made of steel and with 64 aeroleafs on it. The Wind Tree is 10 meters high and 8 meters wide. The leaves already start from a small breeze (2m / sec wind speed) and generate electricity. The conical turbines rotating around their own vertical axis are very silent, but they only give a slight buzzing sound like real leaves.

Seniortab

The Seniortab is a device, which helps seniors to easily access the online world. Like everyone else, they should be able to communicate, inform themselves and entertain themselves on the internet. About 800 000 persons above 65 are not yet online in Austria, and for those who are, it is getting harder and harder. Therefor a user-friendly and application was developed and rounded out with an intuitive interface. The application is specifically designed for elderly people: it is easy to handle and you can shut down the app with just one click.

Telephone for deaf and hearing impaired

Helping the hearing impaired make phone calls: T-City improved the communications possibilities for deaf or hearing-impaired people in public areas with Telephony for the Hearing Impaired. The partners of this project are TeSS, the sign language interpreting service, and the “Deutsche Gesellschaft der Hörgeschädigten-Selbsthilfe und Fachverbände” (German Society for the Hearing Impaired). The terminals have an integrated screen, a special camera as well as access to TeSS.

Mygo - smart cane for the blind

This disability aid, based on the traditional white cane, is equipped with sensors and a PMD-camera which is able to measure the 3rd dimension directly in real time, while communicating with a processor processing data on the environment. The processed information is converted into auditory feedback in a head set worn by the user. In addition, the device has a hub motor in a wheel, constantly providing the user with information about the terrain.
