ZTE Hungary's pilot project in Szentendre is unique in Hungary. The smart parking zone enables users to find free parking places with a mobile application and information on roadside displays. Up-to-date information is forwarded to the centre by sensors built into the pavement of parking spots. After installing the system, information about available parking is shown to drivers at the area entrance, saving unnecessary extra routes, reducing noise and pollution. ZTE's smart parking zone project is only available in Szentendre in Hungary. The system currently serves 66 parking places on the Duna-korzó, from Bükkös creek to Péter Pál street.
