The combined power of Car2go and DriveNow has created SHARE NOW, Europe's leading social car-sharing platform. It is currently present in 16 European cities with nearly 14,000 cars, 3,550 of which are fully electric. With around three million customers, SHARE NOW offers a sustainable urban mobility solution while making a significant contribution to reducing congestion as part of the mobility ecosystem, with one community car replacing at least four to six privately owned cars in traffic. SHARE NOW operates an all-electric car fleet in four cities and a partially electric fleet in 10 cities, making SHARE NOW one of the largest electric car-sharing companies. The cars are started and locked via an app downloaded to a smartphone, so they can be left or picked up anywhere without staff assistance. Users can choose between per-minute, hourly or daily rental plans.
