The Mobile Home program is a social business concept where the association's housing agency links homeless people, municipalities and philanthropic investors who come in as a private owner.
There is a housing crisis in Hungary an the current home ownership structure shows no way out. There is currently not enough available rental housing for the most deprived, either in the municipalities or in the market. Housing difficulties make their situation impossible, but their program allows them to enter a new segment of the housing market as a tenant. The implementation of the program is based on a cooperation between municipalities, civic expertise and private investors, thus enabling the operation of a new experimental housing model.
