Cargonomia is a low-tech logistic center providing solutions for the transport of goods, in particular healthy and locally produced food in Budapest. It also a place to try out, rent and/or buy several types of cargobikes to solve your own transport needs. Cargonomia is a collection hub and distribution point for locally produced and organic food provided by partners. It aids in connecting producers to consumers directly by offering a community space for picking up goods while also making direct deliveries with the ease of cargo bike.

Extreme weather conditions give green roofs a hard time: extreme temperatures and long periods of drought can have a devastating impact on the vegetation. This limits the variety of plants than can survive, and leads to high maintenance costs.

Kimap-City will provide citizens with a Map-Visualization service, containing information on the accessibility level of streets, sidewalks and bus/tram/metro stops related to specific areas of the city. The solution will help all the citizens affected by motor disabilities or by limited mobility capacity (old people), to find out which parts of the city are accessible for them and which public transports fit best their conditions.

In designing the city of the future, why not start building one from scratch, instead of dealing with the legacy of an ‘unsmart city’. And why not copy a smart city that is already in operation successfully. That is what Kuwait thought when it hired a South Korean consortium to build Kuwaits newest smart city from scratch.
