Church conversion into housing

Church conversion into housing

The church has not been used for worship since 1991 and until 2007 it was mainly used as a showroom for antique furniture. The church was also rented out as a meeting place and used for small concerts. The mezzanine section was added in the 1990s, due to the change of functions.

An exceptional feature of the project is that the church was converted into a dwelling, with little change to the original church structure. The existing wooden floors, stained glass windows and old doors have been retained and repaired where necessary. The renovated space is a perfect fusion of old and new.
