The Youtyúk system helps to connect local producers and costumers. Their aim is to give a real opportunity for subsistence for country farmers while the costumers get real, happy and natural eggs. They would like to see the current situation change and more and more rural farmers / families have a real opportunity to have an honest job by producing truly healthy and high quality food (eggs from free-range, capricious hens, self-produced hens without hormones or antibiotics).

IEEE Smart Village

IEEE Smart Village (ISV) has a unique approach to support the world’s energy-impoverished communities by providing a comprehensive solution combining renewable energy, community-based education, and entrepreneurial opportunities. ISV provides seed-funding to carefully selected community entrepreneurs based upon a credible business plan that will impact significant number of people with electricity, education and jobs. The Foundation had and still has successful projects from Nigera through Himalaya to Galapagos.

Zugló's interactive budget website

The municiaplity of Zugló not only pays attention to careful management of the taxpayers' money but tries out new methods in order to reach full transparency. With the help of Budapest's K-Monitor Office ands and the Fiscal Responsibility Institue, a professional website was created to present Zugló's budget, making it is easy to understand. This is considered important not only for reasons of transparency and accountability, but also because in the future they would like to involve the citizens of Zugló in budget planning.

It Grows for You (NekedTerem)

The aim of "It Grows For You" to serve quality food loving people with edibles from local, small rural producers and family businesses. The desired products can be ordered on the nekedterem.hu webpage, and every second day there is a delivery to ensure comfortable shopping. They cooperate with local producers, farms and partners (such as Living Tisza). They also help the farmers and family businesses by paying the fair amount of cash immediately when they take over the locally grown food. They also provide vegetables and fruits from organic producers and humane farms.

Microker webpage

The Microker web application is a map search engine that allows producers and artisans anywhere in the country to display their products online for free. The aim is to enable consumers to obtain as many products as possible from their place of residence, directly from producers. This would allow food from more reliable sources to be placed on the tables and the money spent on it would stay in place, thus strengthening the local economy and significantly reducing the environmental burden of freight transport.
 

Kiskosár Shopping Community

Kiskosár Shopping Community started in 2012 in Esztergom. It was based on the local product market of the Conscious Shopper Festival held in September 2011, organized by the Environmental Culture Association of Esztergom. The idea of setting a shopping community in Esztergom was born in that market. The shopping community for local products was an innovative way back then.
Conscious customer demand is linked to the capacity of the surrounding producers thanks to the regular organization of product deliveries.

ENERGY@SCHOOL project

ENERGY@SCHOOL: energy optimization and behavioural change of Central European schools is a cooperation project. The Interreg    CENTRAL EUROPE Programme improves capacities  for  regional development in innovation,  carbon dioxide reduction, the protection of  natural  and  cultural  resources  as  well as transport and mobility. With a budget of 246m EUR, this EU cohesion policy programme supports public and private organisations to work together across Central Europe.

Szatyor Bolt and Association

Szatyorbolt is a new age social/community enterprenourship that has a business part operating  based on eco-conscious values and offering shopping alternatives for those who care about environment, ther health and the community. It is a choice of making as less environmental impact as possible and also supporting small scale farming.
Other part is a civil organization, Szatyor Association that provides workshops, trainings about conscious consumption and lifestyle. Also organizes farmers' visits for better understanding of how our food in the countryside produced.

Debrecen Szatyor Community

The Szatyor Debrecen is a community-based initiative, which aim is to promote local food which comes from organic and gentle production.
The Debrecen Szatyor Community was launched in the summer of 2012, it was the first time for producers and buyers to meet who not only realized that it would be good to create this special market here after the Budapest Satyor, but were ready to do so! Since then, more and more people have joined the initiative, and by now the community consists of approx. 20 farmers and more than 300 families.
