Flooded Roads Smart Warning System (FRSWS)

The Flooded Roads Smart Warning System (FRSWS) project uses smart technology to provide both proactive and reactive mechaims to enhance road safety during flood episodes. The FRSWS minimises the risk of drivers inadvertantly driving into flooded roads by using advance warning signs that only activate in flood conditions. The innovative design and programming of these signs allows real time mapping and information for each road location with a FRSWS to be provided to disaster management entities and the community through a range of communication methods.

eKool

eKool is an easy-to-use information system where pupils, teachers, parents and school management can easily communicate and get information. eKool makes school information accessible for home, decreases teacher's and school manager's routine work and makes statistical data about school accessible to local government. Parents can get accurate information about their child's grades, notifications, attendances and homework. There are class and school forums where they can participate.

SORMAS-ÖGD

SORMAS (Surveillance Outbreak Response Management and Analysis System) is a mobile digital business management system for epidemic control measures. SORMAS-ÖGD is a specialized version for contact person management in the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. It supports public health authorities in identifying and monitoring contact persons. SORMAS-ÖGD is used on virtual servers, whereby only employees of the respective health authority have access to the data; the health authority is the sole owner of the data.

Târgul Agro

Web-based exchange platform for agricultural products - brings together the demand and supply of agricultural and food products - facilitate the delivery of fresh and environmentally friendly products.

Patchwork Health platform

A group of London hospitals have banded together to create the London COVID-19 Digital Staff Bank: a centralised cloud-based platform for staff recruitment. The 14 hospitals are working together in conjunction with Patchwork Health and Reed Talent Solutions to ensure that temporary staffing contracts are filled appropriately and swiftly during the COVID-19 emergency.

BUDAPEST XV - Smart Problemreporting System

The aim of  "BUDAPEST XV" smart phone application is the interactive involvement of the XVth district's inhabitants in the improvement of the cityscape, as well as the simplification of complaint and problem reporting and the acceleration of case management. All the user has to do is provide a description of the problem when submitting a new report, then select from the predefined categories the most appropriate, and finally specify the exact location of the problem.

Digital Villages project

The “Digital Villages” project was initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Sports Rhineland-Palatinate and the IESE in the summer of 2015.Through an open innovation competition, associations of municipalities were invited to submit project ideas to improve the quality of life in their area by the means of digital services. Subsequently,  an  independent  jury  of  experts  of  politics, society and research selected the associations of communities of Eisenberg, Göllheim and Betzdorf-Gebhardshain as winners.

Zugló's interactive budget website

The municiaplity of Zugló not only pays attention to careful management of the taxpayers' money but tries out new methods in order to reach full transparency. With the help of Budapest's K-Monitor Office ands and the Fiscal Responsibility Institue, a professional website was created to present Zugló's budget, making it is easy to understand. This is considered important not only for reasons of transparency and accountability, but also because in the future they would like to involve the citizens of Zugló in budget planning.

Microker webpage

The Microker web application is a map search engine that allows producers and artisans anywhere in the country to display their products online for free. The aim is to enable consumers to obtain as many products as possible from their place of residence, directly from producers. This would allow food from more reliable sources to be placed on the tables and the money spent on it would stay in place, thus strengthening the local economy and significantly reducing the environmental burden of freight transport.
