On December 12, 2016, the Port of Cleveland's Board of Directors approved a resolution adopting an Updated Strategic Plan for 2017-2022. The Port fosters job creation and economic vitality in Greater Cleveland. Our maritime services and assets add value and result in a competitive advantage for regional firms competing globally.  The Port also tackles challenges tied directly to jobs, quality of place, and environmental sustainability through innovative development financing services and selective public investments in critical harbor projects.

The Smart Cities Information System (SCIS) is a knowledge platform to exchange data, experience and know-how and to collaborate on the creation of smart cities, providing a high quality of life for its citizens in a clean, energy efficient and climate friendly urban environment. SCIS brings together project developers, cities, research institutions, industry, experts and citizens from across Europe. SCIS focuses on people and their stories – bringing to life best practices and lessons learned from smart projects.

The Open & Agile Smart Cities initiative (OASC) is a city-driven, non-profit organisation. The overall objective is to create a Smart City market. OASC was founded in January 2015 and came to life with the first wave of cities joining in March 2015. OASC continues to grow.

It is about anticipating trends and developments in all areas that affect life in a big city.

AMS aims to become an internationally leading institute where talent is educated and engineers, designers, digital engineers and natural/social scientist jointly develop and valorise interdisciplinary metropolitan solutions. AMS is centred on applied technology in urban themes such as water, energy, waste, food, data and mobility, and the integration of these themes. AMS will develop a deep understanding of the city – sense the city -, design solutions for its challenges, and integrate these into the city. In that, Amsterdam is its home base and test bed.

The Valencia InnDEA Foundation is a body promoted by the Valencia Town Council with the aim of supporting and encouraging development in the city by innovation in its various forms. InnDEA Valencia acts on the business system, in which it favours innovation in the productive sectors of the city of Valencia; on local administration, promoting urban innovation applications to modernise municipal services and give citizens a faster and more efficient response; and on the city, making it both habitable and sustainable and at the same time an international point of reference.

BSI is the business standards company located in London. BSI was tasked to develop a standards strategy for smart cities in the UK. The strategy identifies the role of standards in accelerating the implementation of smart cities and providing assurance to citizens that the risks are being managed appropriately.

Future Cities Catapult accelerates urban ideas to market, to grow the economy and make cities better. They bring together businesses, universities and city leaders so that they can work with each other to solve the problems that cities face.

The Copenhagen Solutions Lab is a governing body for smart city projects across all sectors in the city and have focus on creating triple helix partnerships. Copenhagen Solutions Lab lead the implementation of innovation and smart city development in close collaboration with knowledge institutions and companies as well as citizens.
