Smart Parking - Kaszásdűlő P+R
40 parking sensors will be installed in the P + R parking lot of Kaszásdűlő. The purpose of the project is to analyze the utilization of the P + R parking lot, and to investigate the integration of measured data into public transport support software such as Waze, Google Maps and other navigation software.
Smart Parking -Budapest VIII. district
With 80 installed sensors, they monitor parking space utilization, parking habits, and additional uses of sensor-generated data, such as dynamic parking assist applications or community route planning solutions.
Action Program Smart Mobility - Amsterdam
The goals of the action of Smart Mobility of Amsterdam is improving the safety, accessibility, quality of life and attractiveness of the city. Goals for the action program specifically:
1. Get insights in (technological) developments and innovations in the field of mobility and its impact on the city.
2. Anticipate on technological innovations and use these to reach the goals.
3. Stimulate and accelerate innovation in the city.

City-zen: Virtual Power Plant
A virtual power plant is an online platform which aggregates people’s production and consumption of solar energy and stores the surplus locally. Due to this aggregation it’s possible to trade energy on the wholesale markets: the use of a home battery lets you store energy when electricity prices are low and discharge the battery when there are high.
UAV application to establish urban disaster communication and redundancy platform
An earthquake in Kaohsiung, Meinong district caused the collapse of the Tainan Wei-Kung building. It caused flooding because of the water pipe rupture and made the rescue become difficult. Typhoon Meranti brought heavy rains to the southern Taiwan, resulting in part of the mountain road collapsed and it leaded to inability of sending the rescue team to the affected area timely. When a disaster happens, the communication channels of the disaster area are often damaged; the joint routes are blocked, and wireless communication facilities are failure.
LoRa - Taipei IoT Experimental Platform
In order to accelerate the development of smart city and upgrade the competitiveness of IoT industry, Taipei City Government especially planned and implemented “Taipei IoT Experimental Platform” to transform the city to become an experimental field so that the innovative applications of ICT industry will be practiced. It can accelerate maturation and development of Taiwan IoT technologies and products as well as enable citizens to enjoy good outcomes from intelligent services.
Taipei Smart Street Light
Taipei street lights enhance with network and become the important collection of data as the cornerstone of smart city solution.
If the street light system has been equipped with the specifications of the communication network, monitoring images, sensors, messaging and other mechanisms, it can support the need of smart city through every different application. IPS emphasizes to use simple interface to control engine room on cloud to remote control the street light to do sensing such as the temperature, humidity, environment monitoring like CO2 and PM2.5, traffic detection.
Plastic Bikelane
The world first road created out of recycled plastic could be built in only a matter of days and that can last three times longer than a traditional road. The road allows excess water to drain quickly and has a built-in solution for pipes and cables. Additionally, switching from asphalt to plastic roads will reduce the carbon dioxide emissions when compared to traditional road construction.
Smart benches in Prague
Apart from being a place for rest and relaxation, the specially equipped benches let Prague citizens and visitors alike charge their phones or tablets, connect to the Internet, check the current temperature and air humidity or the volume of carbon dioxide in the air. All of that is available at the city public areas without the need to be connected to electric energy – the benches are powered by solar panels.
