Jászfényszaru's GIS System

Jászfényszaru is a small town of nearly six thousand people in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. The municipality places great emphasis on smart solutions, the town's GIS system gives the possibility to search by address, topographical number or keywords. The city also created a cemetery cadastre where the user can search by name, year of death, or grave location. Not all content can be reached by the public users, the visibility depends on the authorization.

 

HelpyNet application

HelpyNet is an innovative free mobile application based relationship maintaining system, that solves every possible situation, be it an emergency, calling in a faulty device, or finding out about a local service.
HelpyNet not only contributes to the protection and wellbeing of the residents, but also makes two way communication possible between different institutes - like local governments, transportation companies, sport centers, or even touristic venues, or commercial centers/malls – and end users, in every situation.

Denver Office of Sustainability

The 2020 goal was set in 2013 by the Denver Office of Sustainability. City officials have been working on sustainability goals for many years now, including reducing emissions by 80 percent by 2050, fuel switching, 2020 sustainability goals, innovative public-private partnerships, benchmarking and increased transparency between the city and the public. Though the city must take decisive action and show leadership in these topics, the public needs to know how they can help on an individual level. Goals were set by separating government and community goals into efficiency.

Cleveland Climate Resilience & Urban Opportunity Plan

The Cleveland Climate Resilience and Urban Opportunity Plan includes a detailed assessment of the current and anticipated effects of climate change in the Midwest, along with mapping and analysis of Cleveland’s vulnerabilities, characterized by six social factors. The vulnerability mapping helps identify the parts of the city most likely to be at risk in the event of heat waves, heavy precipitation, or other extreme weather and will enable the city to target resources and programs to reduce risk.

Szigetszentmiklós GIS system

The new GIS system of Szigetszentmiklós is available on the official website of the city. The following content is accessible to anyone on the residential GIS system: institutions, Danube riverside access, public transport and bicycle routes, deratization areas, rainwater data, Natura 2000 sites, land registry frame map, local building regulations and high resolution aerial photo.
In addition to switching the layer on/off the user can search by lot number/address and search/get coordinates.

Törökbálint GIS system

For the Municipality of Törökbálint created a  WEB-based GIS portal which makes the spatial data available for the employees of the Municipality and for he public as well.
The system includes ordnance survey, regulation plans, digital utility models, elevation points, public transportation data and informations of health facilities,education, elections and snow removal. In addition, the map includes a citizen problem reporter where users can describe, categorize, locate and record the issue.

Transportation modeling (NOACA)

Transportation systems play a critical role in facilitating movement of people and goods. These systems (similar to any other major infrastructure investment) can take several years to construct and will exist for many decades. Wise planning is needed to help create and maintain high quality transportation facilities and services at a reasonable cost with minimal environmental impact and to enhance economic activity.The NOACA transportation models provide structured forecasts that establish an understanding of the transportation system performances and impacts of our interventions.

Climate aware Wolfhagen

The Wolfhager City Council unanimously decided in April 2008 to fully cover the power supply by 2015 from renewable sources. This goal was achieved with the commissioning of the wind farm Rödeser, 2014.
Another important milestone on the road to climate neutrality in the power supply was laid by the Wolfhager public utilities already beginning of 2006. The Stadtwerke Wolfhagen, which previously operated already power the core city and the district Bründersen bought electricity networks back in 11 districts from Eon Group back.

SmartATL

SmartATL is a consortium of technology companies and startups, state and city governments, and knowledge centers in metro Atlanta. Using applied information based on data collection, interaction, analytics and advanced simulation modeling, the group provides smart corridor connected-vehicle infrastructure which promotes the safe and efficient flow of transit and improving emergency responses.
