Alsómocsolád - Future weaving programme

Alsómocsolád is a village in Baranya County, Hungary, its population is less than 400 people. Their vision is to transform Alsómocsolád to a friendly, liveable, traditional but innovative XII century township, with developing their local economy and increasing ther population. Their "Future Weaving" programme aims to reverse depopulation, they are looking for enthusiastic applicants who would like to live in the village, be an active part of the community and help to make the county life more comfortable.

Drainage nets in Henley Reserve

In March 2018, the City of Kwinana installed drainage nets at two locations in Henley Reserve as a trial. The nets were installed in an effort to reduce the discharge of rubbish from drainage systems within the City, in particular areas where road drainage is discharged into public open spaces and reserves.
In 4 months both nets have been cleaned three times with a total of 370kg of debris collected by the drainage nets which has been removed and disposed of. The debris consisted of food wrappings, drink bottles, sand and tree leaves.

Climate aware Wolfhagen

The Wolfhager City Council unanimously decided in April 2008 to fully cover the power supply by 2015 from renewable sources. This goal was achieved with the commissioning of the wind farm Rödeser, 2014.
Another important milestone on the road to climate neutrality in the power supply was laid by the Wolfhager public utilities already beginning of 2006. The Stadtwerke Wolfhagen, which previously operated already power the core city and the district Bründersen bought electricity networks back in 11 districts from Eon Group back.

Cargonomia

Cargonomia is a low-tech logistic center providing solutions for the transport of goods, in particular healthy and locally produced food in Budapest. Cargonomia is a collection hub and distribution point for locally produced and organic food provided by partners. It aids in connecting producers to consumers directly by offering a community space for picking up goods while also making direct deliveries with the ease of cargo bike.

Kissmybike is an IoT tracking solution designed specifically for bicycles and small vehicles that detects theft and tracks the vehicle’s location until its successful recovery. It features an ultra-compact robust design that allows an internal installation, hiding it from hand and eye. The combination of smart adaptive algorithms and energy-efficient electronics enables several years of operation on a single charge. The system comprises cutting-edge satellite and mobile technologies in order to accurately track a vehicle’s location in different conditions in the event of theft.

Kimap City App

Kimap-City will provide citizens with a Map-Visualization service, containing information on the accessibility level of streets, sidewalks and bus/tram/metro stops related to specific areas of the city. The solution will help all the citizens affected by motor disabilities or by limited mobility capacity (old people), to find out which parts of the city are accessible for them and which public transports fit best their conditions.
