Via Verde in Mexico City

Vía Verde is the transformation of more than 1000 concrete columns into a more than 60 thousand square meters of vertical gardens that support Mexico City´s Beltway, one of the most important and iconic expressways in Mexico and in Latin America. Vía Verde came out as a citizen request that was formulated through the social digital platform Change.org, where more than 75 thousand signatures were collected in just 7 days.

iTaksi promises a safe and convenient drive thanks to mobile application. Put into service with assurance from Metropolitan Municipality, iTaksi directs a passenger to the closest taxi. iTaksi offers payment options via IstanbulCard or by credit card, benefiting promotions in the city, a safe drive, evaluating the driver, planning before drive, follow up with the drive, and different taxi options depending on the need.

Air Boxes PM2.5

The PM2.5 hazards is a serious problem that Taiwan is facing today. Last year, the air quality often reached “purple alert.” Therefore, Taipei City Government, Academia Sinica, Realtek and Asus set up  “PM2.5 Air Boxes” in Taipei. In this cooperation project, Realtek and Asus donated “Air Box” to each elementary school in Taipei City. This machine can detect temperature, humidity, PM2.5 data and transmit information to a cloud-based platform/website so that students and parents can access the Internet or use an APP to view environmental data.

CityTree

The world’s first bio-tech filter to quantifiably improve air quality. Different types of moss bind environmental toxins such as particulate matter and nitrogen oxides while producing oxygen at the same time. Integrated IoT technology delivers comprehensive information on performance and status as well as environmental data on the CityTree’s surroundings. Controllable ventilation technology allows airflow to be intensified, meaning that the filter effect can be increased as required.

Blinkee.city offers a fast and ecological transport through a crowded city. The users can rent an electric moped, bicycle or electric scooter the closest to them.

COUP is an eScooter sharing service focusing on individual urban mobility.The scooters are electrically powered, connected, emission free and quiet.They are designed with an extensive sensor system and intelligence starting from display design and replaceable batteries to regenerative braking system and charging stations.

Pontevedra, the car-free city

The city of Pontevedra created a car-free city model. The central idea of ​​the model is the number of cars needed for the proper functioning of the city is much lower than we think, but the efficient and dynamic operation of urban transport must be ensured by meeting complex needs. Traditional urban models mostly focus on motor vehicles, while pedestrians are almost completely ignored.
